Monks Rest

A true Coastal and Country retreat. Our Scandinavian style lodges situated on the famous Heritage Coast within walking distance of the local beach and Heritage Coastal path. These single storey lodges (named The Retreat and Monks Rest) can sleep up to four adults*, with log fires in each lodge, (making them especially cosy in winter), a spacious living area that is furnished and decorated to a high standard, and with great attention to detail. Both lodges have two generous sized bedrooms with sumptuous king size beds, high quality bedding and soft furnishings. Each lodge has a stylish bathroom and a well-equipped contemporary kitchen with dining table and chairs, alongside a comfortable open plan living area.

Throughout, vibrant textiles compliment pieces of artwork that have been created by celebrated local artists, and the cool white interior is warmed through with pops of colour and curated fabrics. Outside, there is room for adjacent parking, along with a good sized furnished deck, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the amazing sunsets with an aperitif. Imminently both lodges will feature Jacuzzi hot tubs (awaiting delivery) and Gas BBQs Minimum stay 3 nights.
