Did you know.... Dragonflies spend most of their life underwater as larvae. By pushing water out of their bottom, they can jet propel themselves at high speed to catch their prey! Bet your kids (and big kids too) would love these curious facts. Head out to Cosmeston Country Park and follow the Curiosity Trail where you can learn lots more weird and wonderful facts about nature. Look out for the totem listening point and match-finder game hidden in the woods too.... 🦋🐞

Happy St Dwynwen’s Day! 💖💓 Today is considered to be the Welsh equivalent to Valentine's Day. It celebrates Dwynwen: the Welsh Saint of love 💕 Her story is full of both tragedy and romance. Like a lot of Welsh history, the story of St Dwynwen has been passed down through the generations via word of mouth, myths and songs. As a result of this, her story is mixed with elements of folklore and Celtic stories. You can read more about St Dwynwen here ~ tiny.cc/stdwynen ❤️ #dyddsantesdwynwen #stdwynwensday @visitwales
