Visit the Vale – Gavin & Stacey Competition Terms & Conditions
1. The Prize
The prize includes:
- A two-night stay at Goodstay Apartments.
- A guided tour of key filming locations on Dave’s Coaches.
- Breakfast or lunch for two at Marco’s Café, as featured in the show.
- Pizza for two at The Front Room, a favourite of James Corden during filming.
- A Gavin & Stacey hamper of goodies courtesy of Barrybados.
- A day’s hire of a Barry Island Beach Hut.
2. How to Enter
- Entrants must fill in the competition entry form available online.
- Entries close at midnight, 1st January 2025. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
3. Eligibility
- Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
- Only one entry per person is permitted.
4. Winner Selection
- The winner will be selected at random and notified via email or telephone.
5. Prize Conditions
- The prize is limited to a maximum of two people.
- The prize is valid until 1st December 2025 and must be booked at least 30 days in advance.
- The prize cannot be redeemed on Bank Holiday weekends.
- All elements of the prize are subject to availability and are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
- Travel costs, travel insurance, spending money, and any additional food, drink, or activities not mentioned in the prize description are the responsibility of the winner.
6. Booking and Use of Prize
- Bookings must be made via tourism@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk.
- The winner is responsible for ensuring all travel and health requirements are met.
- In the event of cancellation by the winner, no alternative prize will be offered.
7. Liability
- The promoter will not be held liable for a prize that does not reach the winner due to circumstances beyond their control.
- The winner uses the prize at their own risk.
8. General Terms
- The promoter reserves the right to substitute any element of the prize with another of similar value in the event of unavailability.
- The promoter accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury relating to the competition or the prize except in cases of negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- By entering, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
