Vale Nature Festival 2025

Join us and our partners at the Vale Nature Festival on Saturday 19th July (11-4pm) at Cosmeston Lakes, Penarth for a free family-friendly day celebrating all things nature in the Vale!

Come along and find out ways to get involved in helping nature on your doorstep with interactive stalls from local organisations and groups, take part in citizen science, experience live storytelling, explore hands-on activities, creative crafts and more!

We're excited to welcome a host of organisations and community groups championing nature in the Vale including; Beach Academy Wales, Bumblebee Conservation Trust, Butterfly Conservation Trust, Coed y Tor Trees, Hiraeth y Goedwig, Glamorgan Hedgehog Rescue, Kennixton Sheep, Looby Lou's Storytelling, Nature on Your Doorstep, Natur Hud, Out to Learn Willow, Penarth Tree Volunteers, RSPB, Restore the Thaw Landscape Project, Sarah Hannis Illustration, SEWBReC, The Flat Holm Society, Vale of Glamorgan & Bridgend Bat Group, Wild about Nature Dinas Powys, Wildfire Wales, Wildlife Trust South and West Wales and more!

Organised by Vale Local Nature Partnership and Restore The Thaw Landscape Project, funded by Welsh Government's Local Places for Nature Scheme and Heritage Lottery Fund.

This is a free event but car parking charges will apply.
